Why isn't my story at the top of Gnommie yet?

A new submission will initially appear in “Upcoming” for users of
the Gnommie community and the general public to discover. As it accumulates votes, it will rise to the top of “Upcoming”. Submissions at the top of “Upcoming” will “make the jump” to “Popular”, also referred to as Gnommie homepage, throughout the day.

There is no guarantee that your submission will be promoted to the “Popular”. Diversity is the key to getting a submission promoted to “popular”. Gnommie uses a sophisticated algorithm that takes into account the number of votes, views, shares, comments and several other factors to determine its relative ranking.

Please keep in mind, the default view for Gnommie is the most recent submissions that have become popular within the past 12 hours. If you do not see your story in a given view, try a different view, and be sure to check out the various topic pages as well.
