How does Gnommie work?
Gnommie is a user-generated website made for people to express
their opinions and to learn the opinions of others. At Gnommie, the site's users make all of the content-related decisions.
How is this done? By submitting, sharing, commenting on and voting for or against articles, videos, images and other content that users like or don’t like, Gnommie users can influence the flow of incoming content that make it to the Gnommie homepage.
All submissions initially appear in “Upcoming” for users of the Gnommie community and the general public to discover. The “Popular” tab on Gnommie, also referred to as Gnommie homepage, shows the submissions that have received the most interest from users.
Diversity is the key to getting a submission promoted to “Popular”. Gnommie uses a sophisticated algorithm that takes into account the number of votes, views, shares, comments and several other factors to determine its relative ranking.
To thank the Gnommie community for their contributions, we give away points for various actions. This way the community can recognize how active you've been.
