What is "phishing"?
Phishing is an online attempt by fraudsters to steal passwords
and private account information through fake web sites and emails that look like those of an official organization (e.g. bank or email provider).
A phishing web site or email can look identical to the real thing, so it can be hard to tell that it's fake. Please note that current versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer warn you if you have navigated to a suspected phishing site, and we recommend that you upgrade your browser to the most current version.
